The Challenge
A large-scale residential development in Seamill required a final inspection of the newly installed drainage infrastructure before it could be formally adopted by Scottish Water. The survey needed to prove that the network was free of obstructions, construction debris, structural defects, or silt build up to meet strict WRC (Water Research Centre) standards.

Due to the scale of the site and the diameter of the surface water drains, a standard "push-rod" camera was insufficient. We deployed a multi-stage approach:
Cleaning & Preparation: We utilised our high-volume jetting tanker to perform a full system flush, removing all residual silt and construction materials from the lines.
High-Tech Inspection: Our Mainline CCTV Crawler was deployed to navigate the expansive network, providing high-definition, 360-degree footage of every joint and connection.
Technical Reporting: Data was coded to OS19X standards and certification Pipe Classifications based on the Manual of Sewer Condition Classification (MSCC), 5th Edition ensuring the final report met the high standards of Scottish Water.
The Result
